Huntleigh Technology Group (HTG) started in 1990 as a
data-centric long distance InterExchange Carrier (IXC).
Located in such close proximity to the border, we saw the need for a
company which had the technological expertise and the innovation to
specialize in international cross-border communications. We diversified
and added Internet and e-commerce to our menu of integrated business
services, and in 1994, Huntleigh became the first ISP in El Paso. We
have established a reputation for exceptional and responsive service,
which allowed us to build the business relationships we needed to remain
competitive when national and new local ISPs began operations in the El
Paso market.
Huntleigh's targeted market has always been small and
medium sized businesses providing customized Wide Area Network solutions
for data, voice, and now Internet access along with web service.
A word about dependability: With our early history as
a Telco, Huntleigh's networks have been designed and built on a -48 volt
Telco standard with battery back-up supported by a propane fueled
stand-by generator, with physical path redundancy, multiple backbone
provider options, and multi-interconnect agreements for network
redundancy. This ensures that our customers' voice, data and Internet
connections will never be down for more than a few moments, even in
cases of national disaster. All networks are monitored and managed on a
24/7/365 basis.
